Manatees inhabit the shallow, marshy coastal areas and rivers of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, the Amazon basin, and West Africa. (Source Study.com)
Manatees usually eat Seagrasses, leaves, and plant roots.
Manatees can be found in shallow, slow-moving rivers, estuaries, saltwater bays, canals, and coastal areas — particularly where seagrass beds or freshwater vegetation flourish. The average adult manatee is about 10 feet long and weighs between 800 and 1,200 pounds.
You can do this by, spreading word about manatees death rate increasing rapidly, and that we need to do something about it. You can also volunteer at beach clean ups and at Manatee feeding centers.
